At Impedanca d.o.o., we believe innovation must go hand in hand with responsibility. As a Slovenian electronics manufacturer, we’re proud to announce that in 2025 we became a CO₂-neutral company — a milestone achieved through smart investments and a strong sustainability culture.

Our journey began with a solar power plant installed on our Maribor facilities, now covering most of our electricity needs. To maximize efficiency, we added a 215 kWh battery system that stores excess energy and powers production during evenings and cloudy days. This setup ensures stable operations and reduces our reliance on the public grid.

Climate control is handled by a high-efficiency heat pump from Kronoterm, powered by solar energy and supported by a recuperation system that recycles warm air. Together, these technologies cut our heating and cooling consumption dramatically.

But sustainability isn’t just about tech — it’s about mindset. We’ve redesigned workflows to align with solar peaks, reduced waste, improved recycling, and switched to eco-friendly materials and packaging. Every team member contributes to our green mission.
We measure and document all emissions, offset what we can’t yet eliminate, and continuously invest in improvements. The result? Lower costs, energy independence, and a stronger reputation among partners in industrial, telecom, and renewable sectors.
