For a manufacturer of composite materials, we developed a fully automated production line for Kerrock sample manufacturing — transforming a demanding manual process into a fast, precise, and reliable automated system.
Previously, their sample production required six operators working in two shifts, with several manual handling and grinding stages. The process was time-consuming, inconsistent, and heavily dependent on human labor.
Today, a single operator oversees a fully automated line that integrates cutting, measuring, robotic handling, and CNC machining into one continuous flow. Samples are shaped and polished in a single step, ensuring consistent quality and a flawless surface finish every time.
The result?
- Operator count reduced from 6 → 1
- Annual capacity increased from 300,000 → 500,000 samples
