Murrelektronik’s latest generation of Xelity managed switches, available with 5 or 10 ports and with data transfer rates from 100 Mbit to 2.5 Gbit, offers an efficient, secure and robust solution with a highly attractive price/performance ratio for fast and smooth data traffic in intralogistics. They support PROFINET, Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP and communicate seamlessly with higher-level controls.

Developed and manufactured in Germany, the switches are ideally suited for time-critical applications in production, ensuring smooth and latency-free communication between machines, sensors and control systems. The focus on real-time application of relevant data ensures maximum performance.

Thanks to the plug-and-play principle with pre-assembled connection and junction cables based on internationally recognized standards, simple, convenient configuration via the web server and preset parameters, installation and commissioning are completed in no time at all. Even a device swap can be done quickly and without expert knowledge: All the data needed to resume operation can be automatically uploaded to the new switch via the controller.

All Xelity managed switches are IP67-rated and designed to withstand harsh industrial environments. They feature rugged, fully encapsulated plastic or metal housings, are shock and vibration resistant, and operate in temperatures from up to -40 to +70 degrees Celsius.

Their compact design also makes them the ideal solution for decentralized automation concepts and flexible network topologies that are precisely tailored to the requirements of the respective application.

Whether due to limited installation space or restricted mobility in production, conventional wiring is sometimes not possible. With the new Xelity Wave Pro offering IP 65 protection, Murrelektronik enables industrial wireless and seamless networking: from transmitter to receiver, decentralized and digital, flexible and reliable.

With a range of up to 20 meters, the new Xelity wireless switches offer a maximum data rate of up to 6 Mbit/s, delivering data in real time without delay. The advanced roaming function ensures uninterrupted connectivity for fieldbuses.
